One Charter, a private aircraft charter, brokerage and management services provider, has established a cargo division called One Cargo.
One Cargo was set up as a result of perceived demand for instant transport of perishable, heavy and outsized goods, relief cargo for humanitarian aid and specialised oil and gas equipment. According to the Boeing World Air Cargo Forecast 2006/2007 world traffic levels expanded 3.1 per cent during the first half of 2006 relative to 2005, and interest in new freighter aircraft has not abated.
One Cargo has access to over 800 cargo aircraft operators worldwide available for charter and is run by Dion Xavier, who has experience in the air freight market, in particular with cargo charter flights.
